Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry: an article on designer-created uniforms

In the latest article from the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kaubandus-Tööstuskoda), we look in more detail at how companies can improve their brand identity through unique uniforms. Comfortable, good-looking uniforms also help raise an employee’s confidence, and with that, motivation at work improves as well.

The job of workwear is to give a company’s employees a professional appearance, characterised by recognisable patterns, colour tones and consistent design elements. That in turn helps build the brand’s identity and tell its story, and makes the brand easy for customers and the public to recognise. This is how people form a strong bond with the company’s brand, which paves the way for customers to return.

Uniforms created in collaboration between a company and a designer enhance the company’s image. The team feels great in clothing that fits well and looks good. They feel they are part of something big and meaningful, which in turn contributes to a stronger sense of unity and raises employees' productivity. In short, employees are better motivated because they feel respected, and as a result they in turn contribute to the company’s success.
